Terms of Service

Last updated: November 1, 2026

This English version is provided for convenience. If there is any conflict between it and the Spanish version, the Spanish version prevails, except where the law of your country of residence requires otherwise.

1. Who we are and acceptance

DuoRemote is a service of Kreatt Enlace Inmobiliario (“we”, “us”), with its address at Plaza Lomas 56-A, Col. Lomas del Tecnológico, C.P. 78215, San Luis Potosí, S.L.P., Mexico. You can reach us at juanchalita@gocodex.dev.

These terms govern your use of the DuoRemote Mac app, the iPhone app, this website and the DuoRemote Pro subscription (together, the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service you accept these terms and thePrivacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. The Service

DuoRemote lets you control your own Mac from your iPhone. On your local network the devices connect directly; outside it, the connection goes through our relay servers. Session content (screen, keystrokes and pointer input) is end-to-end encrypted between your devices: our servers cannot read it and do not store it.

3. Your account

4. Plans

5. 14-day free trial

The first DuoRemote Pro subscription on each account includes a 14-day free trial. We will ask for a payment method to start it. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, the first charge for the plan you chose is made when the trial period ends. If you cancel during the trial, you are not charged. We may refuse a new trial to anyone who has already used one.

6. Automatic renewal

Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each period (month or year) and is charged to your payment method on file, at the price in effect at that time, until you cancel.

7. Cancellation

You can cancel at any time from your account under “Manage subscription”, which opens the Stripe Customer Portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for: you keepDuoRemote Pro until then and afterwards stay on the Free plan. There is no cancellation fee.

8. Prices, currencies and taxes

9. Price changes

We may change prices. If the price of your subscription changes, we will notify you by email or in your account at least 30 days in advance. The new price applies from the first renewal after the notice; if you do not agree, you can cancel before that date.

10. Payments through Stripe

Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. and its affiliates (“Stripe”). We never see or store your full card number; Stripe handles it under its own terms and privacy policy. You authorize us to charge your subscription fees, through Stripe, to the payment method you provide.

11. Failed payments and grace period

If a charge cannot be completed, Stripe will retry it over several days and we will ask you to update your payment method. During that time you keep access to DuoRemote Pro for up to 7 days. If the payment is still not completed after that period, Pro access is suspended and you stay on the Free plan. You can restore it by updating your payment method or subscribing again.

12. Refunds and right of withdrawal

Unless applicable law provides otherwise, payments are non-refundable and we do not provide partial or prorated refunds for unused periods, including if you cancel mid-period or delete your account. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us and we will review it.

Consumers in the European Union and the United Kingdom: the law generally gives you a 14-day right of withdrawal from the date of the contract. The free trial lasts 14 days and you are not charged during it, so you can cancel at no cost within that period. When you start the subscription you request that the Service begin immediately and, with your express consent, you acknowledge that, to the extent permitted by law, you lose your right of withdrawal once the digital Service has begun or, if you withdraw, that we may retain a proportionate amount for the Service already provided.

Nothing in these terms limits any non-waivable rights you have under the consumer protection laws of your country of residence, including Mexico’s Federal Consumer Protection Law.

13. Acceptable use

You may not use the Service to:

We may suspend or close accounts that breach this section, with notice where reasonable.

14. Software license

We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable license to install and use the DuoRemoteapps on devices you control, under these terms. The iPhone app is also subject to Apple’s App Store terms. DuoRemote, its logo and the software belong to their owners; you acquire no rights in them beyond this license. We may release updates, and some may be required to keep using the Service.

15. Availability and changes to the Service

We do our best to keep the Service available, but there may be interruptions due to maintenance, third-party failures (networks, cloud providers, Apple, Stripe) or causes beyond our control. We may modify or discontinue features; if we materially remove a Pro feature we will notify you, and if we discontinue DuoRemote Pro entirely we will refund the unused portion of your paid period.

16. Account deletion and termination

17. Warranties and limitation of liability

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and uninterrupted or error-free operation.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits or opportunities. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim or, if greater, the equivalent of 50 US dollars.

These limitations do not apply where the law does not allow liability to be excluded or limited, such as in cases of fraud or gross negligence, and do not affect your non-waivable consumer rights.

18. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the federal laws of the United Mexican States. For any dispute, the parties submit to the competent courts of San Luis Potosí, S.L.P., Mexico, waiving any other jurisdiction that may apply. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory rules of your country of residence or of access to its courts or consumer authorities where the law allows; in Mexico you may contact the Federal Consumer Protection Agency (Profeco).

19. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If the changes are material, we will notify you by email or in the Service at least 15 days in advance. If you keep using the Service after the effective date, you accept the new terms; if you do not agree, you can cancel and delete your account.
